The RoHS directive 2002/95/EU (Restriction of Certain Hazardous Substances) restricts the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products. From July 1, 2006 products entering the marked are not allowed to include the substances restricted in the directive. The European Union Commission has conformed on August 19, 2005 (decision 2005/168/EU) the allowed maximum concentration values for homogenous material. The confirmed limits clarify the companies¡¯ preparation for the RoHS requirements, which will be valid for all products that have entered the market after July 1, 2006.
